Storm & Hail Damage in Scottsdale & Phoenix, AZ
Monsoon and microburst events do more roof damage in Arizona than most homeowners realize. Uplift, cracked tile, granule loss, and dislodged flashing often aren't visible from the ground. HailCo inspects, documents, and represents the roof side of the claim.
- Wind, hail, and microburst damage diagnosis
- Photo and measurement documentation for insurers
- Adjuster meeting representation
How we do it
The three things we will not skip.
01
Damage you can't see from the driveway
Tile cracks under uplift, hail bruising, granule loss, and bent flashing rarely show from the ground. We get up there and catalog every finding.
02
Adjuster meetings, handled
We meet your insurance adjuster on the roof and walk through findings together. Most missed damage gets caught in that conversation.
03
Supplements when scope is short
If the initial scope misses items required by code or manufacturer spec, we file a documented supplement on your behalf.

What customers say
See all reviews →“Hailco roofing is an awesome company to work with. They worked with my insurance to help get my roof replaced, helped walk me through what my policy would cover and what they could do. Tanner was a huge help in keeping in communication as well as once their install crew was scheduled that side also kept me informed. They were able to work with solar panels as well, making the whole process seem less and stress free. I would 100% recommend this company and use them again if needed.”

Bryson Engholm was extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of the process from working with our insurance company to the final installation of the roof. He kept in touch with us on a constant basis and has a way of making you feel included. He is an awesome person to have in your corner seeing that your needs are meet. Frank Pyle was the project manager on day of installation. He is great and his crew was fantastic. They worked efficiently as a team and left nothing behind. They left our yard free of debris and damage. We highly recommend Hailco Roofing for any of your roofing needs.”

FAQ
Questions we hear about storm & hail damage.
Do I have to file a claim to get an inspection?+
No. We inspect first. If there's no claimable damage, we'll tell you and you owe nothing more than the inspection.
Will filing a claim raise my premium?+
Storm losses are usually classified as Act of God and don't impact individual premiums in Arizona, but check with your carrier.
How quickly should I have the roof inspected after a storm?+
Within 24 to 72 hours for insurance purposes. Most policies require damage to be reported promptly, and carrier adjusters treat inspections done weeks later with more skepticism.
What does hail damage look like on different roof types?+
On shingles: circular bruises with granule blast-off. On tile: hairline radial cracks, sometimes invisible without close inspection. On metal: visible dents. The pattern matters — random damage suggests storm; uniform wear suggests age.
Can monsoon damage affect my roof even if I don't see any broken pieces?+
Yes. Uplift damage can break the nail seal on shingles or shift tile without visibly removing them. Water then enters at those sites on the next rain. That's why an inspection after any significant wind event matters.
