Soffit & Fascia in Scottsdale & Phoenix, AZ

Soffit and fascia are the trim work under and around the edge of your roof: the wood (or aluminum or fiber-cement) that defines the eave line. They fail from sun, moisture, and pest damage and almost always need attention when you do a roof replacement. HailCo handles soffit and fascia replacement as part of roof scopes or as standalone repairs.

  • Wood, aluminum, and fiber-cement soffit options
  • Fascia replacement coordinated with gutter and roof work
  • Bird and rodent intrusion sealing

How we do it

The three things we will not skip.

01

Inspect every linear foot

Soffit damage hides behind paint. We probe for soft spots, check for active rot, and measure replacement needs accurately, so there are no surprise change orders after tear-off.

02

Pest entry sealed first

Most fascia damage starts as a small bird or rodent entry. We seal the entry path before installing new fascia, otherwise the new material fails the same way.

03

Paint match handled

Replacement soffit and fascia are primed and painted to match existing trim. We don't leave you with a re-paint problem to solve after we leave.

We had our roof replaced by Hailco Roofing and are very pleased with their services. Bryson Engholm was extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of the process from working with our insurance company to the final installation of the roof. He kept in touch with us on a constant basis and has a way of making you feel included. He is an awesome person to have in your corner seeing that your needs are meet. Frank Pyle was the project manager on day of installation. He is great and his crew was fantastic. They worked efficiently as a team and left nothing behind. They left our yard free of debris and damage. We highly recommend Hailco Roofing for any of your roofing needs.

Hailco roofing is an awesome company to work with. They worked with my insurance to help get my roof replaced, helped walk me through what my policy would cover and what they could do. Tanner was a huge help in keeping in communication as well as once their install crew was scheduled that side also kept me informed. They were able to work with solar panels as well, making the whole process seem less and stress free. I would 100% recommend this company and use them again if needed.

Hello, I had the pleasure of working with Hailco Roofing. They replaced my dad's roof. Everyone I worked with were very nice. They took care of all the paperwork and contacting the insurance themselves I didn't have to do anything. When it came down to replacing the roof the crew was fast and efficient. When finished they cleaned up all the debris and left nothing behind. Now I'm in the process of replacing my roof and I'm also using Hailco Roofing. Thank you so much to all the team.

FAQ

Questions we hear about soffit & fascia.

  • Do I have to replace fascia if I replace my roof?+

Not always. If fascia is at end-of-life, doing it during the roof replacement saves significant labor cost. We'll inspect and tell you honestly.

  • How much does soffit and fascia replacement cost?+

Standalone scopes run $4 to $14 per linear foot installed depending on material. Coordinated with a roof job, the per-foot cost drops because labor is already on-site.

  • What are the signs that fascia needs replacement?+

Soft spots when you press on it, visible paint peeling, water staining, or pest holes. In Arizona, UV damage often makes wood fascia look solid while it's rotting from the inside.

  • What material lasts longest for fascia in Arizona?+

Aluminum or fiber-cement. Wood painted well can last 15 to 20 years but requires maintenance. Aluminum and fiber-cement are essentially maintenance-free in our climate.

  • Does soffit affect attic ventilation?+

Directly. Soffit vents are the intake side of the attic ventilation system. Blocked or missing soffit vents cause attic overheating and accelerate shingle and underlayment failure.
