Hail Damage Repair
Hail damage in Arizona looks different than wind or monsoon damage and needs a different repair scope. Bruising on shingles, hairline cracks in tile, granule blast-off, and dented metal flashing all degrade roof performance even when the roof looks intact from the ground. HailCo runs hail-specific inspections that catch every impact strike and document them in the format insurance carriers expect.
- Hail-strike documentation with side-lit photography
- Shingle bruise mapping and granule-loss measurement
- Class 4 impact-rated upgrade quotes when re-roof is needed
How we do it
The three things we will not skip.
01
Side-lit hail inspections
Hail bruises hide in flat midday light. We inspect early morning or late afternoon so impact strikes catch the angled sun and become visible. That's a detail most contractors skip.
02
Documentation aligned with carrier expectations
Photos, measurements, and impact counts formatted to match what your carrier's adjuster will write up. That cuts back-and-forth at claim time.
03
Class 4 upgrade path
If your damage qualifies for full replacement, we'll quote both standard and impact-rated shingle. The impact upgrade often pays back via insurance premium discount.

From the field
“After a monsoon cell took out half the tile on our west slope, HailCo had a tarp on by sundown and a real fix scheduled by Tuesday. Insurance side of the claim was handled without me having to learn what 'Xactimate' meant.”

FAQ
Questions we hear about hail damage repair.
How can you tell hail damage from old wear?+
Hail bruises are circular, soft-to-the-touch, and have a fresh fracture line through the granule layer. Old wear is irregular and surface-level. We photograph both for comparison in the report.
Do I need a replacement after hail?+
Not always. Small storms damage isolated areas and need only repair. Larger hail events that affect every slope usually qualify for full replacement under your homeowner policy.
