Service
Insurance Claim Support in Scottsdale & Phoenix, AZ
Most homeowners haven't filed a roof claim before. We have, hundreds of times. HailCo handles the roof-side documentation, meets with adjusters, and pushes back when initial scopes miss code-required items.
- Pre-claim damage assessment
- Adjuster meeting representation
- Scope review, supplements, and Xactimate alignment
How we do it
The three things we will not skip.
01
We do not work for the insurance company
We work for the homeowner. Our job is to make sure the scope reflects what the roof actually needs, not what's cheapest to underwrite.
02
Xactimate-aligned documentation
Our reports use the same line items and codes adjusters work in, which removes friction from the approval process.
03
We handle the back-and-forth
If a supplement is needed, we file it. If a scope is denied, we appeal it. You don't need to learn insurance to get your roof covered.

Bryson Engholm was extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of the process from working with our insurance company to the final installation of the roof. He kept in touch with us on a constant basis and has a way of making you feel included. He is an awesome person to have in your corner seeing that your needs are meet. Frank Pyle was the project manager on day of installation. He is great and his crew was fantastic. They worked efficiently as a team and left nothing behind. They left our yard free of debris and damage. We highly recommend Hailco Roofing for any of your roofing needs.”

Scottsdale, AZ · Roof Replacement
“Hailco roofing is an awesome company to work with. They worked with my insurance to help get my roof replaced, helped walk me through what my policy would cover and what they could do. Tanner was a huge help in keeping in communication as well as once their install crew was scheduled that side also kept me informed. They were able to work with solar panels as well, making the whole process seem less and stress free. I would 100% recommend this company and use them again if needed.”
Kris West

FAQ
Questions we hear about insurance claim support.
Are you a public adjuster?+
No. We're licensed roofers (ROC #346211). We handle the roof side of the claim. For broader property claims, we'll refer you to a public adjuster.
What does claim support cost?+
It's included in our scope when you choose HailCo for the repair or replacement. No extra fees.
What's the difference between an insurance repair scope and what the roof actually needs?+
Initial scopes often omit code-required items like ice-and-water shield, proper drip edge, or ventilation correction. We review every scope against current AZ building code and supplement when items are missing.
How long does an insurance roof claim take in Arizona?+
Most residential claims are adjusted and approved within 2 to 4 weeks of the adjuster meeting. Supplements add 1 to 3 weeks. We track every open claim and follow up on stalls.
What if my claim gets denied?+
We document the denial, review the cause, and file a formal appeal if the denial is based on incomplete documentation or incorrect damage assessment. Most well-documented claims aren't denied at first presentation.
