Emergency Tarping in Scottsdale & Phoenix, AZ

When wind has peeled tile off the ridge or a monsoon cell has punched water into the master bedroom, the permanent repair can wait. Stopping the water can't. HailCo runs an emergency tarping crew across the Valley for active leaks, blown-off field material, and storm punctures, dispatched 24/7 during monsoon season.

  • Same-day or next-day tarp dispatch
  • Weighted edge tarps with secure perimeter
  • Photo documentation handed off to insurance

How we do it

The three things we will not skip.

01

Tarp that actually stays put

Most emergency tarps fail within a week because they're nailed or weighted poorly. Our crews use weighted-edge install with sandbag perimeter that holds through monsoon-season follow-up storms.

02

Photo-first protocol

Before we tarp, we photograph the damage from every angle. That record becomes the foundation of any insurance scope and prevents disputes about pre-tarp condition.

03

Permanent-repair quote on day one

While we're on the roof, we measure and write a permanent-repair scope. You'll have a real quote within 24 hours, with no separate inspection visit required.

We had our roof replaced by Hailco Roofing and are very pleased with their services. Bryson Engholm was extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of the process from working with our insurance company to the final installation of the roof. He kept in touch with us on a constant basis and has a way of making you feel included. He is an awesome person to have in your corner seeing that your needs are meet. Frank Pyle was the project manager on day of installation. He is great and his crew was fantastic. They worked efficiently as a team and left nothing behind. They left our yard free of debris and damage. We highly recommend Hailco Roofing for any of your roofing needs.

Hailco roofing is an awesome company to work with. They worked with my insurance to help get my roof replaced, helped walk me through what my policy would cover and what they could do. Tanner was a huge help in keeping in communication as well as once their install crew was scheduled that side also kept me informed. They were able to work with solar panels as well, making the whole process seem less and stress free. I would 100% recommend this company and use them again if needed.

Hello, I had the pleasure of working with Hailco Roofing. They replaced my dad's roof. Everyone I worked with were very nice. They took care of all the paperwork and contacting the insurance themselves I didn't have to do anything. When it came down to replacing the roof the crew was fast and efficient. When finished they cleaned up all the debris and left nothing behind. Now I'm in the process of replacing my roof and I'm also using Hailco Roofing. Thank you so much to all the team.

FAQ

Questions we hear about emergency tarping.

  • How fast can you tarp?+

Most Valley calls are dispatched same-day during monsoon season, next morning otherwise. We prioritize active leaks over cosmetic damage.

  • How long does an emergency tarp last?+

Properly installed weighted-edge tarps hold for 30 to 60 days. We schedule the permanent repair within that window so the tarp doesn't have to outlast its expected life.

  • Will the tarp protect against another monsoon storm?+

A properly weighted-edge tarp handles typical monsoon rain and moderate wind. It's not designed for a direct 70+ mph microburst, which is why we schedule the permanent repair quickly.

  • Do I need to be home for the emergency tarp?+

No. We can work with a neighbor or realtor for access. We photograph and document everything before and after so you have a complete record.

  • Does my insurance cover emergency tarping?+

Usually yes, as part of the protect-from-further-damage coverage in your policy. We invoice in the format carriers expect and include before-and-after photos. Most tarping costs are absorbed into the repair claim.
